How did you get into Photography ?

For me it started about 6 years ago in India. I went on a trip with YWAM and for the first time found value for myself which I had never had before. I came back and worked on meeting people in the photo industry. Many doors opened up photographing and learning from incredible photographers all over the world. I studied for a few years at a Junior College in Dallas and mastered black and white film processing and printing. I later moved to Austin, Texas and assisted a man named Robert McGee, a commercial architectural photographer. He taught me many new things about the world of lighting and photoshop. I continued to put my work out there and jobs just came my way. I’ve never really pursued a client in all my years of shooting. They have always pursued me and i’d like to keep it that way. :-)

Do you photoshop your images ?

Yes, I do use photoshop…. endless hours a day. I try very hard to raw process as much as possible keeping the images as rough cut as possible.

Do you take Interns ?

not currently at this time. But if you have knowledge in lighting and commercial shoots. Please do email me with your contact info and the city that you live in. I may be able to hire you as an assistant when I have a shoot near you.

Do you use any type of relectors when you shoot
while traveling?

I do not.

What lens is your go to?

As wide as I can possible get. Although I’ve been addicted to the 50mm wide open lately.

Do you have any thoughts or advice for someone hungry to get out there and capture the work going on and the remaining needs relating to the 3rd world peoples?

Pursue your passions. If you want to make these these world known. Find a way to do it. We all have the recources at our fingertips to do Big things. I would challenge you to find a way to get connected with a non profit or missions organization and find out where you can serve and grow.
