First few days here in Uganda seeing http://www.charitywater.org project – I am hearing so many stories of families members missing from the LRA abductions. I met a woman yesterday who was abducted by them for 2 weeks and escaped with massive scars all over her body. Her baby died during the ordeal. She spent over 3 years in an IDP camp that had only contaminated River water that people washed, bathed and shared with animals. So many people here have come back to their homes to find that their village water pumps are broken and there is only a small stream or contaminated spring to get their water from. They are asking for our help ! donate at http:///www.charitywater.org

I had the most amazing time in Kurdistan with Global Hope. I can’t even begin to start on the stories we listened to for 2 weeks. Never before have a met a people that Loves America more ! The Kurdish community are some of the most hospitable people i’ve ever met in my life. I am so thankful to have gone on this trip and I can’t wait for you to read about all of their lives in the coming months.
