I just had a wonderful weekend visiting with some of the most incredible photographers in the world at the Southwestern Photojournalism Conference. You can find out more at http://www.swpjc.org If you are an aspiring photojournalist, I encourage you to come next year and learn from these talented storytellers.
I am back in Austin right now, getting over my Jet Lag and packing my bags for Nicaragua. I head out this week to visit “La Chureca ” in Managua. Many of you have seen the images from there at the exhibits that photographer Eric Kelley and I had last year with Love, light and Melody in Texas and Virginia.
You can click on the Nicaragua gallery to see more of the 500+ families that live in the trash dump there.

Your work is very inspiring. I, unfortunately don’t know many people who share my interest in all that’s going on in Africa, and other areas of the world, so it is refreshing and a relief to know there are others out there. I remember seeing you at Displace Me last year. Keep making beautiful, inspiring, informative art! It’s amazing. You can visit my blog at http://twopereirasinapod.blogspot.com

You must invest time and energy to get more friends and prospects. Facebook is doubtlessly a tremendous social network which has been able to surpass every other online network.
