I had the most amazing time in Kurdistan with Global Hope. I can’t even begin to start on the stories we listened to for 2 weeks. Never before have a met a people that Loves America more ! The Kurdish community are some of the most hospitable people i’ve ever met in my life. I am so thankful to have gone on this trip and I can’t wait for you to read about all of their lives in the coming months.

I think your images here have humanized a place that we all (Americans) see as war-torn and desperate. The vibrancy of the people’s faces and the photo of the street you have taken really bring it home that these are people, too.
Thank you for all your hard work!
