Charity Water : September Birthday
This year Charity Water is doing a very unique Fundraiser. If you have a September Birthday they are asking that you ask for money for Water Wells instead of gifts. I am doing just that. My goal is to raise $1,000 which pays for 1/4 of a well. If you have seen the Jean Bosco Story on the main page of my website that is from a village where Charity Water funded a water well. These people in Marunja now have clean water for years and years to come.
Did you know that more than 1.1 billion people in the world today don’t have the most basic thing: clean water to drink. And 4,500 kids die each day from water-related disease. I’ve been supporting an organization called charity: water that has been working to make a real difference.
So I’ve decided to give up birthday gifts this year and ask people for donations instead to help people in need. 100% of the money raised will go directly to building freshwater wells, which will be proved with GPS coordinates and photos on Google Earth.
