New York, New York
This past week I flew up to New York with a good friend Kayla. We stayed with Summer Rayne, who I traveled the country of Mozambique with in November. For some reason this city has captured my heart. I love it like no other right now. There is such a momentum in the air and people getting so much accomplished. It has a much more european feel than most U.S. cities. I found myself at some awesome vegan restaurants and sitting at cafe’s sipping coffee.
On Monday night, I photographed the Charity Water Ball at the Metropolitan Pavilion. I really love what this non-profit is doing. 100% of all donations goes to where it says it does. They raised $500,000 on Monday night alone and it will all go to build water wells in villages of Africa. Check out there site for updates ! ( http://www.charityis.com ) It was great to see friends there and connect with many new people.
So, now i’m headed home for Christmas. I’ve been an editing maniac lately trying to sort through Africa images and still keep things going here. I am counting the days down till I go to the Democratic Republic of Congo in three weeks. After my many shots in the last few weeks, I think i’m ready to head back again. If an of you are interested in donating to the organization i’m going with you can visit

I am bringing a whole suitcase of clothes and hygiene needs for the kids in the orphanage. If you want to be a part of this please email me and let me know and i’ll send you a list of what I plan to bring. Merry Christmas to you all! I hope you are spending happy days with your families.
